2DANCE2DREAM.ORG 

When 2dance2dream needed to gear up and get organized for the holidays and their upcoming 2018 dance recital for children with special needs, Chosen stepped up to the plate to help clean out and clean up.    

PARENTS FOR  ISAAC

Isaac was born weighing only one pound into a family legally deemed unfit to raise him. After finding a prospective adoptive family, the judges restored his biological parents' rights. CPS immediately appealed, and his adoptive family hired an attorney to regain rights to adopt Isaac; an expensive act of love to which Chosen has financially contributed.

AUTUMN'S DEVASTATING

DIAGNOSIS

10 year old Autumn was diagnosed with encephalitis, an inflammation of the brain and nervous system, which left her dreadfully ill and handicapped. Chosen has contributed to help cover the cost of medical bills and rehab.

PARTNERSHIPS FOR CHILDREN

Chosen collected over 700 gifts for children in the Central Texas foster care system for Christmas this year.  We helped grant wishes to make kids displaced from their homes wake up with a bit of joy on Christmas morning. 

Legacy ranch's 2nd home

When Legacy Ranch opened a second home for abused and neglected children in South Austin, Chosen gifted furniture to help furnish the new location.

TIRES TO TRANSPORT YOUNG

CANCER PATIENT

Chosen partnered with Hackney Auto, Moving4Word, and Discount Tire to give new tires to Angie, the mother of a young Cancer patient whose treatments took a toll on their old tires.

AIDEN'S EYE TEST

Aiden, an autistic and epileptic 6 year old, was chosen to receive the gift of a much-needed eye exam that was uncovered by his family's insurance.

BLAKE'S MEDICAL MYSTERY

Blake was care flighted upon being born due to an undiagnosable health complication which bound him to living in the hospital for weeks. Chosen made a financial contribution to support their medical coverage.

ELLA'S EYE SURGERY

Chosen contributed to the medical costs of Ella's eye surgery, which saved her eye sight.

THE GATHERING AT COMMUNITY FIRST HOMELESS VILLAGE

Chosen helps facilitate The Gathering, a non-denominational service promoting spiritual growth within the community, once a month. We set up, lead worship, and provide a meal at the end of each service. Find out more about The Gathering here

Haircuts for the homeless

Chosen partnered with NAAVA Salon and Nice Ice Italian Ice to give free haircuts and snow cones to 50 men and woman struggling with homelessness, delivering them a new look for job hunting and a confidence boost!

SETH SUPPORTING HOMELESS

Chosen donated to Seth's cause of helping a complete stranger on the streets secure meals, an apartment, a bike, a job, and a GoFundMe link.

A SAFE ROOM FOR LUCY

Lucy was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy at three months old and faced the horrifying reality that 90% of SMA children die before age two. Now four year old Lucy has defied the odds, and Chosen has contributed towards renovating her home to allow for a first-floor bedroom with necessary equipment.

MJ'S NEW RIDE

MJ, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and founded B4SMA, which gives blankets to children suffering from SMA, was chosen to receive the gift of a new, specialized vehicle which allows her to continue her incredible mission.

the Dixon's wheelchair van

Brent, who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy and whose wife single handedly works four jobs to make ends meet for their family, was given a new wheelchair accessible van that allow them to safely leave the house.

CHRISTA'S WHEELCHAIR VAN

Christa, whose daughter has a neuromuscular disease, has volunteered her life to also care for her niece, who suffers from a similar disease. Chosen financed the payments of their wheel chair accessible van in hopes that Christa can safely transport her girls.

After living out of their old car and bathing in Walmart, the Braxtons received a Minivan that will get Mr. Braxton to work while Mrs. can care for all the kiddos!

 
 

THANKSGIVING MEALS

Chosen partnered with Celebration Church to gift 1,000 needy Austin families with Thanksgiving meals in the "Bags of Celebration" event.

 

LOSING BABY CASSIE'S MOTHER

Just after giving birth, Cassie's mother passed away, leaving her husband and five children. Chosen made a financial contribution to ease the burden of such a devastating loss.

Vanessa and Jason fervently serve the homeless in downtown Austin through their ministry Lost & Found, but encountered hard times when a 1,500 pound lift fell on Jason's back and left him unable to work. Chosen has contributed to support the family while Jason recovers with appreciation for the good they bring to the homeless in our community.


PROVIDING NANNY CARE

A new mother was hospitalized due to a rare condition called Post-Partum Psychosis and left unable to care for her newborn. Chosen provided financial coverage for the nanny services until the mother made a full recovery and was able to return to her new child.

TRACY'S FAMILY OF NINE

After Tracy's big happy family found themselves in a financial crisis, Chosen gifted them with Christmas presents, gift cards, and a Naava Salon Spa day for Tracy.

Kimberly's financial burdens

Chosen donated a check to help Kimberly finance her family after a surgery ate up all of her savings and caused her to lose her job.

 
 
 

CAR HELP FOR A WORKING MOM

A single mother of two is the caregiver of her elderly mother and works two jobs that require a car that will carry her twenty miles daily. After her car broke down, Chosen contributed the money needed to repair her car.

An anonymous mother of two suddenly experienced a liver failure, and has received a monetary donation to aid her in her healing process after her successful transplant.

Chosen paid the rent of a woman who was diagnosed with HIV while she was unable to work. Chosen is thrilled to report that she is now back on her feet with a full time job.

Chosen has donated to Scott's family of 5 after Scott's Ocular Melanoma diagnosis left him unable to work and support his family.

Rent for a sick man

Chosen paid a man's rent while he was out of work suffering from an illness which was not diagnosed until recently.

 

HELPING HARRELL FIGHT CANCER

Harrell's sudden diagnosis of Stage 4 Lung Cancer has left his new wife and five children under tremendous stress and grief. Chosen has contributed to alleviate his burdensome medical costs.

Chosen has contributed to Jorge's healing expenses, which include the restoration of internal decapitation, a shattered pelvis, broken ribs, and nerve damage, due to a near fatal car accident.
